While we're waiting to bring our new children home, I'm trying to keep busy by nesting and making things for them. I've had my eye on a few crayon roll tutorials, figuring crayons would be a good thing to have on our 30+ hour trip home from Ethiopia.
I made this one last night for Macy, but found a few small things that I wanted to change before making more for the boys. I'll try to put up a tutorial in the next day or two.

Well, I hadn't relaized that more than one lady wrote on the MIFS blog. I thought only Mrs. Stephani did. :) Well, now I know.
Thank you for answering my question. My sister wanted to know if it would be cheaper for is to buy that and make it ourselves than buying the 1 pound of butter with four sticks in it.
But I have another question - what is EVOO? I have never heard of that before. Could you tell me what it is? :)
Thank you for answering all my little questions!
Love,
Rachel
Oh and that is very cute! That would be something cute to have for all the crayons we have lying around here. :)
Hi Kelly,
I came across your blog while searching for some reference material on alternative fuels. I like the way you have put forward your ideas and being supporter of the Go Green Movement, I like to read what others have to say on this matter.
Hope.
Hi Rachel, EVOO = Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I just did a cost comparison yesterday for someone else in the comments section of the original post: http://makeitfromscratch.blogspot.com/2009/02/its-like-buttah.html I don't think it's one of those alternatives where you go "WOW - we're saving SO MUCH!" but being able to make it, easily, at home and control what goes into it makes it worth it to me.
Good luck! :)
