Stenciled Travel Bags

As we get ready for our trip to Ethiopia, I'm finding it so very tempting to buy travel-sized this and individually packaged that. My travel weakness though is plastic baggies. I actually had to restrain myself from buying a box at the store the other day. They just make it so easy to organize all that junk you need for an international trip - first aid items, all sorts of medications, camera chargers and batteries and cords, toiletries, etc.
So, in an effort to curb my plastic baggie desires (and because I obviously have no better way to spend the next 72 hours of my life), I whipped up some of these travel bags. I used one of Fletcher's old chambray crib sheets and some fabric paint. The tutorial is on my Make it From Scratch post for Friday.

Ooooooo I love this idea!!!

I want to make "snack bags" for the kids. They love to have some dry cereal or granola in the car and this looks easy to make and reuseable!

Wooo Hooo!

Now, off to find some scrap fabric.....
