Thrift Store Style

(Photo: Vivienne Mendoza Photography)

I was inspired by the second hand style of iVillage's Ysolt Usigan this week (see Fun with Vintage) and decided to pull some of my own thrift store finds out of the closet. Of course, living in the mountains of Colorado I don't have anywhere to go looking quite so glam, but here's my dressed-down, hippy version of thrift store chic.

Green skirt: Goodwill, 50% off sale. Final price, $2.49
Wife beater: Walmart, $3.50
Wood bead necklace: Local thrift shop, $3.00.

Total price: $8.99

For other thrift store and vintage finds, you have to visit Midnight Maniac who has the most amazing collection of clothing.
