Thrift Store Side Board

I found the greatest side board at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore this week for $25. And, being my lucky day, I got to spin the "Wednesday Wheel" and landed on 40% off. Yee-haw!

It came with all the hardware, some of which was off in this photo, and it came with wheels! I didn't notice them until I opened the drawers at home so it was a fun bonus. {Try to ignore my hideously messy house. My kids have been home from school for 2 days now and I can't keep up with them.}

The colors in the pillow case below are pretty much the colors throughout our house. Or, they're the colors I'd like to have. Almost everything is green and brown right now. What can I say, I love those colors! I think I'd like to paint the base grey or green (the golden color seems like it would look too bright and yellow).

I love some of the two-tone pieces I've seen on Pinterest, like this dresser from Miss Mustard Seed...

 And this one from One King's Lane via Pinterest...

I think grey would look nice for our house. What do you think?

That is a fabulous piece of furniture- how about the very pale green with a distressed finish and maybe cream highlights?

Wooden top, rest cream with a olive over coat that you sand down to show the cream underneath. Nice piece of furniture.
